Professional Qualifications

As a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre, we are able to offer courses for people who themselves want to become dive instructors. Once you have completed the appropriate courses, you'll be able to teach others how to dive, and even consider a career as a dive instructor.

PADI Divemaster

• Learn all you need to know to assist PADI Instructors and lead dives by PADI certified Scuba Divers
• Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water
• Test your organisational and problem solving abilities

Emergency First Response Instructor

• Combines independent study, classroom sessions and assignments
• Equips you to teach Emergency First Response Primary Care, Secondary Care and Care for Children

PADI Assistant Instructor

• Equip yourself to work alongside a PADI instructor, teaching aspects of the PADI curriculum
• Gain experience as a PADI Professional and start learning the PADI system of diver education
• Learn through self-study, quizzes, lectures and presentations
• Tests your skills in the water and in the classroom

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

• The final step to become a PADI Instructor
• Enables you to conduct a broad range of PADI programs from Discover Scuba to Divemaster
• Builds your understanding through self-study, quizzes, lectures and presentations
• Tests your skills in the water and in the classroom

PADI Specialty Instructor

• Equips experienced PADI Instructors to teach a wide range of different specialty subjects, such as underwater photography, fish recognition, etc.
• Includes hands on training, technique demonstrations, course marketing information, current PADI standards information and when applicable, instructor level open water training
• Applicants may write their own specialty programmes that they can offer with approval from PADI

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Recognition of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors who have:
• At least five PADI specialty instructor ratings
• Issued at least 25 PADI certifications

PADI IDC Staff Instructor

• Designed for PADI Instructors who want to move towards instructor-level training or teach the Instructor Development Course
• IDC Staff Instructors can independently train and certify PADI Assistant Instructors as well as help train PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors
• Requires you to master instructor-level dive theory, knowledge development teaching presentations and confined water teaching presentations
• Prepares you to teach PADI Assistant Instructor courses and help PADI Course Directors conduct the PADI Instructor Development Course
