PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver

You have already joined the priviledged few and experienced the realm of inner space. The Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Course will enable you to fin-tune your skills, meet new dive buddies and gain further knowledge and experience! You now have the chance to explore the many special dive activities that this fantastic program has to offer.

What do I need to start?

You need to be at least 12 years old and be a PADI Junior Open Water diver or hold a qualifying certification from another organisation. You will also need to complete the following forms with your parent/guardian:

  • PADI Statement of Risks and Liability

  • PADI/RSTC Medical Statement

  • PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices

What will I do?

The Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Course has something for absolutely anyone! This in-water (and classroom module free!) program consists of five enjoyable dives. Under the direct guidance of a PADI Professional, you can gain additional expereience during the two core dives and the three elective dives.

The core dives are the Deep Dive and the Navigation Dive, these must be completed as they are an essential part of your progression through diving. There are a wide range of dives that can be chosen for the elective three dives. These include:

  • Boat Diver

  • Cavern Diver

  • Drift Diver

  • Dry Suit Diver

  • Multilevel Diver

  • Night Diver

  • Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver

  • Search and Recovery Diver

  • Underwater Naturalist Diver

  • Underwater Photographer Diver

  • AWARE Fish Identification 

  • Wreck Diver (Subject to location)

You can choose! The five qualification dives can be completed on any of brilliant trips to locations including Egypt, The Italian Riviera and Stoney Cove. At these locations you will be able to complete your PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Course under the supervision of an Instructor from Glaxsea Divers. As well as this you will also encounter the unique diving experiences of each of these individually stimulating locations.

How long will it take?

PADI programs are performance based. So the course is structured around your individual needs and ability allowing you to go at your own pace. However, you can expect to complete the five dives over a two day period.

  • Adventures in Diving Video/DVD

What do I bring?

All the equipment will be provided for you other than the mask, snorkel and fins; these you will have to bring yourself due to hygiene reasons.

Where can I go from here?

As a PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Course you can continue your diving education by enrolling on the PADI Rescue Diver course or enrolling on the wide range of PADI Speciality Courses available.
