PADI
We're a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre, which makes us one of the best places in the world to learn to dive or enhance your diving qualifications. It also means we're able to offer a wide range of courses to suit all levels, from beginner level to expert including instructor training, instructor development programmes and continuing education. We even have courses for children aged 8 and over, purpose designed to introduce them to the thrills of diving.
If conservation and ecology are your passion, then we'd heartily recommend National Geographic diving courses to enhance your understanding of the marine environment. We're one of only a handful of centres in the UK authorised to teach these, and they're ideal for both beginners and experienced divers.
All of our courses are based on the internationally-recognised PADI curriculum. PADI is short for the Professional Association of Diving Instructors - world's largest recreational diving membership organization and diver training organisation. Its certifications are accepted worldwide as evidence of skills and experience. But, at Galaxsea Divers, recognised qualifications are only the beginning of the story.
First Aid Courses
We believe that being prepared to deal with an emergency is important and our first aid courses are suitable whether you want to learn first aid to be prepared in general, for family, work, or sporting activities including Diving, we have a course suitable for you.
Our Emergency First Responder courses are designed to prepare you for emergency situations and are designed around your lifestyle and experiences. These courses can be run on an individual basis or as a business related course with the 4 day First Aid at Work course. All our Emergency First Response Courses comply with HSE standards.
Diving First Aid
Divers Alert Network (DAN) Courses are developed educational programmes dedicated to the health and safety of divers.
DAN Courses are designed to teach you first aid techniques to manage diving injuries and illnesses with confidence.
No matter which course you take, Galaxsea Divers will give you the highest standard of training. Our goal is to equip you to be not only to be competent in an aspect of diving, but confident in the new skills you've learnt.
It's one of the reasons we always teach in small classes. We know that the individual attention and the chance to ask questions you get in such situations can make a big difference to your success.
